Drunkenness and disorderly conduct
It is an offence if a responsible person knowingly
- allows disorderly conduct on a premises or;
- allows, sells or attempts to sell alcohol to a person who is drunk,
A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding Level 3: £1,000.
- A person commits an offence if knowingly, obtains or attempts to obtain alcohol for consumption on the premises by a person who is drunk. Level 3: £1,000
- A person who is drunk or disorderly commits an offence if, without reasonable excuse. Level 2: £500
- he fails to leave premises when requested to do so, or
- he enters or attempts to enter relevant premises after a constable or a person has requested him not to enter.
If a responsible person asks help, police must help drunk or disorderly person to expel from premises and prevent from entering back.
