Appeals against decisions of licensing authorities
Any party of a hearing may appeal the decision, on an appeal against a decision of a licensing authority, a magistrates’ court may
- dismiss the appeal,
- substitute for the decision appealed against any other decision which could have been made by the licensing authority, or
- remit the case to the licensing authority to dispose of it in accordance with the direction of the court, and
- may make such order as to costs as it thinks fit.
An objection to this decision can be made to the magistrate’s court within 21 days. Each of the parties participating in the session has the right to appeal the decision.
