Legislation in Britain to reduce crime and disorder due to alcohol-related problems goes back many years. It is not a new problem for people to lose themselves by drinking alcohol, and the increase in crime and disorder rates. The Licensing Act 2003 is the last of the laws applied to regulate the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. With this law, license procedures are taken from the Ministry of Interior and given to the Ministry of Culture, Press and Sports. Thus, besides the bad aspects of alcohol, it has been accepted that it is a part of culture, supports tourism and creates jobs, as well as its good aspects.
Who should take this course?
The 2003 Licensing Act aims to cooperate between license holders, residents and the police. With this law, license procedures were taken from the courts and transferred to the local councils.

The ‘Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders’, which you will be entitled to receive if you pass the exam at the end of this course, is a must for those who want to apply for a Personal License. Under the Licensing Act 2003 (England and Wales), anyone responsible for the sale of alcohol to the public must be a Personal License holder. This training is prepared for those who want to apply for a Personal License and who want to update or renew their knowledge.
Online course and test
The course features:

- A mock practice test equipped with a review function and a diverse pool of questions. Obtaining this qualification requires passing the official multiple-choice exam. This exam can be scheduled upon completing 75% of the course using the exam booking form. It’s available online or at a local test center.
How does the online training and exam function? Our online training comprises video modules with brief progress assessments and a comprehensive preparatory exam to ensure readiness for the final test.
The online multiple-choice exam can be taken on a laptop with a camera in a suitable quiet environment. The entire assessment, including your on-screen activity and webcam footage, is recorded and later reviewed by the examining body.
